Tina Sherry

Tina Sherry

Broker-Owner

Growing up in Northwest Missouri I have a passion for the homes, land and people that make up our community. My passion started at a young age when I realized that I had the desire to help people. Not only did the challenges that can come with buying or selling intrigue me, but the drive to help families and community members face those challenges and make sure they were receiving the best service possible.

With over 30 years of experience I still find that I have the desire to help. Through my knowledge of tax laws, local market conditions and neighborhood profiles I am able to help make the tough decisions easier and uncertainties become more certain. I am an ethical business professional and will work with you to make the right decision for you and your family. I will use my successful experiences to meet your personal real estate wants and needs through market research and careful analysis of sound facts and figures.

As the broker and owner of Priority One Realty I pride myself and the members of my team on our knowledge of this business. Working with you and your family to buy or sell your home, farm ground or investment property is our pleasure.

Having been born, raised and educated in Maryville I have a very good understanding of Maryville and the Northwest Missouri community. I am very happy to call Maryville my home. I graduated from high school, the home of the Spoofhounds.  I also graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, home of the Bearcats and the 2015 National Football and Basketball Champions!

My wife of 40 years and I have two sons, who I am proud to say are both Eagle Scouts. We owned and operated a family retail business for 27 years until 2003 when we decided to try something different. I went into real estate and she went into banking.

I was active with the Boy Scouts of America for 20 years, holding just about every position there is at the local and district level. In 2008 I was award the Silver Beaver, which is the highest award a volunteer can be awarded at the council level.

Another position I am currently heavily involved with is the baseball and softball assignor for Northwest Missouri Officials Association. I assign umpire crews for 24 high school baseball and softball teams. I also umpire myself and have been chosen to work the state playoffs 10 times in the last 20 years.

In my free time I enjoy hunting and fishing and an occasional round of golf.

One thing you will discover when working with me is that I don’t believe in being pushy or high pressured. I feel my job is to show my clients as many properties as it takes to find their dream home and then be with them every step of the way during the buying and selling process. Hopefully along the way we can all have fun and enjoy the experience!

Rural northwest Missouri has always been my home. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University, where I started working in 2005. I have always enjoyed helping people, which is one of many reasons I began my real estate career in 2016 when I had the opportunity to join a great team. I have a passion for real estate and truly enjoy working with my clients on their real estate journey. Everyone’s journey is different and I work hard to assist each client uniquely. I am used to working hard from growing up on a farm and being taught work hard, play hard.

My husband, Jack, and I both work full time at Northwest Missouri State University and have two daughters, Jaylin and Kayla. I enjoy playing sports, attending my daughters’ activities, being outside, baking, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. I love meeting new people and creating lasting friendships, and look forward to working with you on your real estate journey. The best things in life are not things, they are people.

Originally from Essex, Iowa, a small family-friendly town, it was easy to transition into Maryville’s community and want to make this my permanent place of home. With my husband, Aaron, being a Maryville native and an owner of J & L Heating and Cooling I have always felt more than welcome in the Maryville community.

I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching preschool for seven years now and love being able to interact, meet, and help new students and families every year. I started working in real estate because I want to be able to not only continue, but expand my opportunity to help others in the community and surrounding areas.  I am very excited and thrilled to be able to help other families find new places to call home, and to continue to grow the family-friendly community that Maryville has to offer.

Candace and Alexis

Candace and Alexis

Candace and Alexis, often referred to as the “Boeh Team”, came to Maryville from Lenexa, Kansas in 2009 to begin their college journey as student-athletes for the Women’s Basketball team and earn degrees in K-12 Special Education/1-6 Elementary Education. They both completed their student teaching experiences at Saint Gregory’s and Maryville High School. Within a few years, they fell in love with the warmth and support of this community and knew Maryville would be their home for many years to come. After graduation, the Boeh’s pursued their masters degrees in Educational Leadership (K-12) and started teaching positions at Maryville High School, where they continue to co-teach life skills within the special education department.

Throughout their childhood, they moved often due to their fathers work. They remember being excited about new homes in new cities across the midwest and east coast. However, they vividly remember the mixed emotions their parents had trying to sell their home and find the right home in the perfect neighborhood. This is the very reason Candace and Alexis became interested in real estate. The Boeh’s want to guide you through this special milestone in your life, so it is a rewarding experience.

Working with the Boeh’s provides you the “best of both worlds”: they have hearts of teachers and determination of athletes. This distinctive combination is what contributes knowledge, patience, and understanding to your real estate experience, as well as a competitive edge to ensure optimal outcomes for you and your family.
